Wednesday, May 9, 2007 6pm - 8pm Jewels in the Square Presents Paul Green School of Rock The Paul Green School of Rock Music, SFCA is the local branch of the Nationally acclaimed Music School recently depicted in the Documentary, "Rock School." It is the original performance based, interactive music school for kids ages 8-17. We proceed from the belief the best way to learn to do anything is by doing it. School of Rock, SFCA performs regularly throughout the city of San Francisco.
Thursday, May17-27, 2007 12pm-1pm Jewels in the Square Presents San Francisco International Arts Festival The Truth in Knowing/Now: A Conversation Across the African Diaspora. From the heart of San Francisco, artists will take the stage at Union Square daily to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the festival performances. At noon each day festival attendees and the general public will enjoy FREE performances of dance, music and theater. Note: no performance will take place on May 19th.
